About Gamla Ullevi

Gamla Ullevi is situated right in the city centre of Gothenburg. The stadium was built in 2007-2008 and the first match was played on 5 April 2009. Our vision is to be the most attractive football stadium in the Nordic countries and to attract the most visitors.

The Stadium is used solely for football and is the home ground of three Gothenburg teams, IFK Göteborg, GAIS and Örgryte IS. Gamla Ullevi is also the national stadium for the Swedish national women’s team. The finals of the world’s largest youth football tournament, the Gothia Cup, are also played here.

In 2009 Gamla Ullevi and Gothenburg hosted the UEFA Under-21 championship together with three other host cities in Sweden. In 2013 we will be proud hosts of the UEFA Women’s Euro.

Tickets

The box office at Gamla Ullevi is only opened on match days and we open five hours prior to kick-off (earliest 9 a.m.)

You can also purchase your tickets on-line by first choosing your event here. After choosing your event press the “Buy-tickets” link.

You can also book tour tickets by calling +46 (0)31-811020 or visit the box office at Got Event Scandinavium, Valhallagatan 1, Gothenburg. Tickets can also be bought at Pusterviksbiljtter at Järntorgsgatan 12.

How to get here

Gamla Ullevi is situated in the corner of Parkgatan 53-55 and Ullevigatan 3-5 in the city centre of Gothenburg. It’s only five minutes walk from the train station and from the main boulevard, Avenyn.

If you take the tram you should get off at Drottningstorget, Norra Ullevi or Södra Ullevi, which are the closest stops. Please check out www.vasttrafik.se for more information about public transport in Gothenburg.

If you come by car the closest car park is Heden or Ullevigaraget.
